REWIND ON HOLD!
It is time for our Social Media Weekly Round Up! And to start us off this week…
#youtube has announced they will not be doing a Rewind video looking back at 2020. They released a statement to all their creators saying it doesn’t feel right to do one this year, but thanking them for making a difficult year for everyone, a little better.
#facebook has introduced Vanish Mode to Facebook Messenger. Users can opt-in to use Vanish Mode and it looks like it can be different for each chat thread. Vanish Mode means messages will disappear automatically after they have been seen and people leave the chat.
#instagram adds Reels and Shop Tab to all users home screens. This makes them easily accessible.
